The weight of the warm, fluffy blanket settled over her as Chloe curled up on the couch, the fire in the fireplace casting flickering shadows on the wall. A good book lay open on her lap, and a steaming mug of tea sat on the nearby table. The world outside the window was cold and gray, but inside, everything felt right. She stretched out her hand to text her friend about the ending of a new book she'd just finished reading. Instead, the message "Feeling wonderful!" was sent to her critical Aunt Carol. She buried her face in a pillow.
